Rainforest Education Pack
The Rainforest Education Pack is a fantastic free resource for those teaching Key Stage I and II. Produced by a teacher, the pack provides lesson plans specifically designed to fit the National Curriculum and is relevant to many subject areas including English, Science, Geography, Art and Internet Research lessons. Orangutans are a fantastic example for teaching concepts such as adaptation, habitats, interdependence and conservation.
Free Rainforest Poster
Each school in the UK can request one free eye-catching educational poster (size A1), which is ideal as a wall display in the classroom and is a perfect companion to the Rainforest Education Pack. We would be grateful if you would please send us a cheque for £3, made payable to Orangutan Foundation for P&P.
To receive the Rainforest Poster or if you would like further information, please contact the office.
The Education Pack and Poster have been generously funded by the sustainable and community-aware bakery and restaurant, Le Pain Quotidien.
Talks and Presentations
The Orangutan Foundation's UK Education Programme offers slide-illustrated talks to universities, societies and other organisations and does so free-of-charge (however travel expenses are normally expected). Talks can be tailored to encompass any relevant area of interest or topic of study.
